Our story began in 2014. After graduating from the University of Houston, Dr. Thanh Tran moved to San Antonio, Texas, in search of a job.

His search evolved into Omni Vision. Initially developed as Shaenfields Vision Source, it was simply named after the street on which the clinic was being constructed; however, fate had different plans. When construction was not completed as scheduled, Omni Vision at Potranco/151 was launched on October 17, 2016, followed by the Shaenfield location opening the following year on July 12, 2017.

In addition to providing the highest quality eye care in the San Antonio community, Dr. Tran began building a team with a mindset emphasizing a positive attitude, learning, and .growth. This atmosphere helped to put Omni Vision on its track to success.

Great attention to detail was given to the selection of Omni Vision’s eye equipment. Equipping the office with the latest eyecare technology meant patients no longer had to experience the dreadful puff of air during their eye pressure test. In addition, lenses could be cut and sized in-house, making them more time efficient than their competitors.
Above everything else, Dr. Tran is fully invested in delivering unparalleled care to their patients.
